MarFlex finalized product training cooperation with Anglo Eastern Maritime Training Centre, Mumbai (AEMCT). While continuing our strive for Pumping Excellence, we have embarked on yet another commitment to work more effective with our stakeholders. MarFlex recognizes that training is essential to increase system efficiency and enhance cooperation with our end users. Moreover, it will create further cost savings and a learning curve that all stakeholders will appreciate.
For this first initiative, we have signed (15 December, 2010) an agreement with Anglo Eastern Maritime Centre (AEMTC) in, Mumbai, India, to utilize combined experiences for providing professional training of electrical driven cargo and ballast pump handling systems. The aspect is to provide hands-on and theoretical training for those that have better opportunities in the region of India. The holistic idea is to reach in all strategic areas where sea farers can join training sessions that they feel most suited to their needs.
With that said, we are looking to expand more training opportunities in North and South East Asia. An obvious choice, as those regions have similar needs for seafarers that have limitation to join training in other continents. "Bringing the latest technology to the seafarers by way of learning by doing is the best method to bring value to the customer. Any eventuality that could happen out at sea can be easily diagnosed and fixed without losing time or resources" says Mr. Francis Akkara, Sr. General Manager. "Empowering seafarers with appropriate knowledge in operation and trouble shouting is the commitment of MarFlex and Anglo Eastern."
It is our quest to provide systems that are reliable, sustainable and meet the perceptions that our stakeholders hold. It is our belief, too, that training would further enhance those criterions, thus increasing the trust that MarFlex electrical drive systems is the ultimate choice for cargo and ballast pump handling systems.
